Golf Outing For Jerry Sipe
Today there was a golf outing for a local soldier named Jerry Sipe. The special thing about this golf outing was it was sponsored by the Florence Professional Firefighters, as Jerry is a member of this group of firefighters from Florence, Kentucky.
This golf outing was to raise money for Jerry and his unit while stationed in Afghanistan, and for Jerry’s family while they are home without him during his deployment. There were about 20 teams that competed in today’s golf outing at the Boone Links Golf Course in Burlington.
Many people were grateful for Jerry’s service and his wife Jetta and father Gary also attended today’s golf outing.
