Thirteen file for Florence City Council
There will be a primary election in May for the Florence City Council as thirteen candidates have filed with the intentions of running for City Council positions.
Ted Bushelman, Mel Carroll, David Osborne, Betsy Conrad, Julie Metzger Aubchon, and Dale Stephens are the current City Council members that have filed for re-election to the Florence City Council.
Curt Bessette, J Kelly Huff, Larry Brown, Larry Braden, Brian Rickert, Mike Howard and one other candidate have also filed for the City Council positions. There is one additional person, whom we don’t have a name for as of yet.
We will update this story with that persons name as soon as we can obtain it.
The primary election will be held in May in order to narrow the candidate list to twelve individuals to be on the ballot in November.
